Alva Middle School

Arriving at School: Parents are requested to drop students off at the east side of the building each morning. Traffic and safety problems are created when students are dropped off on Flynn Street. Students who live in town should not arrive at school earlier than 8:00 a.m.

Alva Middle School students will go directly to the gymnasium each morning and be seated until the first bell rings. Sixth grade students will be seated on the west side of the gym. Seventh and Eighth graders will be seated on the east side of the gym.

Students may enter the middle doors by the front office to conduct school business before school. The Media Center will not be open before school. No student will be allowed in the halls before school. If prior arrangements have been made, students may meet with teachers for conferencing, make up tests, or additional help on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings.
