Students from Lincoln, Longfellow, and the Middle School received a visit from Miss Oklahoma at the end of Reb Ribbon Week. Check out the photos.

All the 5th graderse do an exercise in writing clear, accurate directions.  These pictures are of Mr. Hamilton’s class and the results Mr. Hamilton gets when  following the kid’s directions in making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  In this picture, the student forgot to tell Mr. Hamilton to use a knife to put on the peanut butter.  Check out the photos.

Alva Firemen visited with the 4th and 5th graders following a fire drill on Friday, October 10. In Honor of National Fire Prevention Week, the firemen discussed fire dangers, escape plans, smoke detectors, etc. Check out the photos.

Prior to the Alva Air Show on Friday, September 26, 2008, the Sooner Flight Academy visited Lincoln Elementary School and conducted a class for the 4th and 5th graders. Check out the photos provided by the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.
