June This calendar is an attempt to remind
students of important dates. Please check with the counselor, listen
to daily announcements, and check the counselor's bulletin board at the high
school frequently. This calendar will be updated as new information
arrives.

Seniors
and Juniors: Mrs. Frascht has posted the
local
scholarships on the Alva High School site. You may type them
directly on the website and print them or you may stop by the counselor's
office for paper copies. If
you bookmarked to this sight prior to 1-20-05, you should click on local
scholarships. This is an updated list and has a different address from
the old list. You may be completing scholarships that are no longer
available

scholarships. Scholarship Criteria
-
Must have a 6 or 7 semester minimum GPA
of 3.5 or higher.
Note: Documentation
must be provided (i.e. official school transcript)

Must have scored at least 24 on the ACT
or at least 1090 on the SAT.
Note: Documentation must be provided for ACT and SAT
scores.

Must be a senior student-athlete
participating in at least one of the OSSAA sponsored athletic programs
listed below each year of his or her high school career.

Application must be submitted by the
student's high school principal.

All applications must be fully completed
including 2 letters of reference to be considered. One letter from
high school principal or his or her designee, and one from a current or
previous teacher of the applicant.
