  1. Survey school sites to determine the type and number of student clubs/organizations and how many students are involved.

    • Lincoln Leaders - All students can run for office - 27 will be elected

    • Book Clubs - students can sign up as they would like; no numbers for this year yet

    • Mentoring - students can sign up as they would like - 14 currently

    • Academic Team - number of students determined by those who qualify

  • Longfellow Elementary Student Clubs/Organizations

    • ​Mentoring - parents can sign up students (no officers) - 26 students

  • Washington Early Childhood Center

    • ​Mentoring - parents can sign up students (no officers) - 21 students

Summer/Fall actions steps to be completed​

  1. Develop a high school club/organization survey with current offerngs and potential new offerings.

Winter/Spring action steps to be completed

  1. Analyze survey results to determine gaps in enrichment offerings. 
  2. Research school wide enrichment models (e.g., Renzulli Model).
  3. Present findings and recommendations to cite principles and site GT committee.
  4. Determine new clubs to offer and sponsors for clubs.
  5. Survey elementary and middle school teachers and students to determine their interests.
  6. Analyze survey results to determine potential clubs/organizations.
