Alva Public Schools is excited to welcome Christy McKee to Alva Middle School as a Paraprofessional!

Christy attended Tulsa Technology Center and Connors State College, earning her LPN. She and her husband have been married for 12 years and have seven children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Christy is looking forward to working with AMS students and joining a great group of teachers and staff.

Alva Public Schools welcomes Tori Tyler!
Tori joins Lincoln Elementary as a 5th Grade Paraprofessional. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Counseling.

Tori is excited to work with students who need extra support, gain valuable experience, and learn alongside the wonderful staff at Lincoln. Her future goal is to work with children in the 1st–5th grade age range.

Outside of school, Tori enjoys spending time with her two children, four sisters, and eight nieces and nephews.

Alva FFA Members 🍦
The Alva FFA Chapter would like to invite all FFA members to our Annual Ice Cream Social on Monday, August 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Alva Pool!

Hot dogs will be provided, and if you're able to bring ice cream to share, we'd greatly appreciate it.

We look forward to a fun evening of food, fellowship, and kicking off another great year. We hope to see you there!

Lincoln Parents & Students! •Back To School Night

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Alva Public Schools has updated its bell schedule to comply with Oklahoma Senate Bill 1481. The new law requires elementary students (Kindergarten-5th grade) to receive a minimum of 40 minutes of daily recess. To meet this requirement while maintaining the state’s required instructional time, adjustments were made to the school day. Thank you for your understanding and support as we implement these state-mandated changes.
