Application is open!
Completing the FAFSA is a graduation requirement for all Oklahoma public high school seniors, so it's more important than ever for students, families, and educators to have the right resources. An opt-out form may be signed by a parent at the high school, if a senior does not want to complete the FAFSA.
You may visit UCanGo2.org to explore our updated FAFSA publications and college planning tools designed to help you every step of the way!
Students and parents must each create a StudentAid.gov account to access and sign the FAFSA. To make the process simple, use our StudentAid.gov Account Worksheet — available in both English and Spanish — for step-by-step guidance.

Oklahoma’s Promise – Important Updates
We’re excited to share a couple of new changes to Oklahoma’s Promise, the scholarship program that helps eligible students earn a college tuition scholarship.
1. Special Income Provisions – Children of certified public classroom teachers who have been employed in Oklahoma for at least 10 years may now qualify under special income provisions.
2. Extended Deadline – 12th grade students can now apply through December 31 of their senior year, giving families more time to take advantage of this opportunity.
Oklahoma’s Promise continues to open doors for students to pursue higher education and achieve their goals.
