🎶 Congratulations to Our OMEA All State Choir Selections! 🎶
We are proud to announce that the following students have been selected for the OMEA High School All State Choir, earning their spots after two rigorous rounds of auditions against students from across the state:
✨ Dash Dickey – Mixed Chorus, Tenor 2
▪️SIX-YEAR All State member — an incredible achievement!
✨ Madeline Ryerson – Mixed Chorus, Soprano 2
First Alternate:
✨ Isaac Anton – Bass 1, Mixed Chorus

We are excited to announce that five AHS students earned a spot in the Red Carpet Honor Band this past week! Auditions were held in Enid, and our students represented Alva Public Schools with pride and talent.
We are excited to announce that five AHS students earned a spot in the Red Carpet Honor Band this past week! Auditions were held in Enid, and our students represented Alva Public Schools with pride and talent.
Students will not be allowed to go into the building. If a student needs items from their lockers, school staff will have someone get that item for them. Once we get to our location, a list of locker numbers and items will be obtained so that students will have what they need for a successful school day.
A bus will be at the high school at approximately 7:30-7:35am to take student to the ARC and NWTC. Thank you!

A big shoutout to our amazing Key Club students who spent their time volunteering at the Luau for our local nursing homes!

Due to a fire in an air conditioner unit at Alva High School, classes have been cancelled at the high school only for Tuesday, November 18. Classes at all other sites will continue as normal. Classes are planned to resume at the high school on Wednesday, November 19.
🚗 REMINDER!
Tomorrow, November 18th, is the Longfellow Drive-Thru Food Drive!
🕣 Students will be hosting from 8:30 AM – 2:45 PM.
The community is invited to simply drive through and drop off food donations—no need to even get out of your car!
Let’s help our Longfellow students make this a successful and impactful food drive. Your support means so much! ❤️
