OU’s Engineering Challenge
Mrs. Tyree’s engineering students recently competed in the OU Engineering Challenge for a chance to win scholarships. While they didn’t bring home a scholarship, they gained valuable experience for the future!

▪️ Top 30% (2 levels completed): Jordyn Pannell, Kimberlie Willis & Kenadie Willis with their egg car
▪️4 Points Scored: Dayton Murry & Benjamin Kriegh with their glider flying through the target

For Read an Accurate Ag Book Week (Sept 2-5) through Ag in the Classroom, Mrs. Hada’s 7th and 8th grade classes read The Popcorn Book to learn more about this fun and fascinating crop. Students watched a video about the different types of corn and how popcorn is made. They also participated in a think-pair-share activity to brainstorm items that contain corn and to discuss new facts they learned about popcorn. To make the experience even more fun, Mrs. Hada provided popcorn from the Rialto for students to enjoy. This activity helped students connect reading to real-world agriculture and better understand the important.
